Solstice- Has anyone stayed in #9286 on the panorama deck, is the balcony larger than normal? I'm looking for a hump room that has a larger balcony. Thanks in advance

You're on the hump, but that is a normal size balcony. The larger balconies on the hump are the angled balconies. There are 8 forward of the hump (4 on the Port and 4 on the Starboard), and 8 aft of the hump (4 on the Port and 4 on the Starboard). They stand out if you look at the deck plans.

Here's a picture (link) that shows the larger balconies on the angle (Port side) It's mirror image on the Starboard side: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showpost.php?p=24259746&postcount=14

Yes, according to the deck plans, they are all mirrow imaged -- up & down, port to starboard. The only difference is bed placement. It's the opposite from port to starboard. For example, the first stateroom angle off the hump heading forward on the starboard side, the bed is by the bath. On the port side, the bed is by the balcony. They alternate from there.

The larger balconies, as per the link, are the first & third angle off the hump, forward & aft.

Is the wind a problem on the angled balconies forward of the hump? Does anyone have experience with this?

I was on the forward angle and the aft angle. Wind didn't seem to be a problem.
