Inaugural sailing question?

Has Celebrity been on time with their inaugual sailings on their "Solstice" series? We are thinking of booking the Silhouette for its second sailing.

 

Also, have there been any ship issues with the first sailings on the Solstice series?

We booked the Solstice 14 Dec 2008 inaguaral cruise as soon as it was offered to Elites. The ship actually sailed its first revenue cruise three weeks before - over Thanksgiving. They would have given us the same room /price for that cruise, but Thanksgiving did not work for us. We stayed on 14 Dec. They did give us the inaguaral cruise commemorative disk. A number of ships in recent years have sailed early. I think after getting burned a number of times with delayed inaguarals, lines are now building in significantly more time for delays, and generally not using all of that built in buffer.
