dig21 Posted February 7, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2005 Has anyone done the Rays, Reef & Rum Point Tour with Nativeway? It sounds like a great tour but I would love to hear more about it from anyone who has done it. Thanks

setcarp Posted February 9, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 9, 2005 I am guessing that they bring you back to the port after some time since it is 45 miles away. I just wrote Nativeway about this.
LoonBoarder Posted February 9, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 9, 2005 Yes, they take you to Rum Point via boat - after you stop at Stingray Sandbar and above the Barrier Reef - then back to the marina and then to the port where you can catch the tender. LoonBoarder Posted March 10, 2005 #6 Share Posted March 10, 2005 We're back, and I promised info about the tour. I suggest you read the thread started elsewhere here, someone else did it much more justice than I ever could. We definitely enjoyed the tour, but with 7 ships in port and all the traffic at Stingray Sandbar the captain decided to put the Rum Point stop in the middle. This, I think, cut down our time there. Upon return to the marina, we rode their shuttle bus back to town. We could have chosen to be dropped on seven mile beach, but didn't. Time was getting a *little* tight by then - but we were able to get some souvenir shopping in.
