RDQ: Hump Cabins (Serenade)

Recommended Posts

I booked my cabin (9612) on Serenade... but I keep reading about the hump cabins and am gathering that these are primo.

I just went on and started a dummy reservation and noticed that 9584, 9582, 9588 and 9590 are available -- all hump cabins.

Should I call and change my reservation?

I agree with Sandy. I've stayed in 9024, 9022, and 9020 on the SOS. All forward cabins. I loved them all. However, for my next cruise I had an aft D2 balcony booked and then a hump JS came open. I snatched it right up. It's on the forward side of center. I expect the views to be excellent.

Oddly, I wish the cabin wasn't right by elevator. With a really forward cabin, you have to walk A LOT to get to food. Makes you think about if you're really all that hungry. Hey, I've lost weight all three SOS cruises.

And the added benefit of the JS? For a few hundred dollars more, I make Diamond after this cruise since I get double credit for a JS. :D
