If you're staying in the one on Griffin Road, yes it was very safe. From the 4th floor you can see the cruise ships. Across the street is Islamorada Fish Company - excellent! Next to Bass Pro Shops. If you tell them you are staying at that hotel you get 15% off. We definately would stay there again. We also left our car there for the week. The transfer company they used were very good and picked us up early. The cost was $41 round trip for 2.

I am considering this location as well, however we may do precruise in Orlando instead and drive straight to the port on embarkation day. Haven't decided yet.

If I end up staying at this hotel, is there a program for the parking or a decal or pass or can I just leave my car there for the week?

If transport by regular taxi, would $10 be an appropriate amount to budget each way?

How was the buffet and the bedding?

Thank you.
