Celebrity sailing out of Charleston?

I have seen conflicting reports about cruises sailing out of Charleston. Can anyone tell me if Celebrity departs from Charleston, or if it is only Carnival right now? Thank you!

Currently just Carnival. Celebrity will be back in Feb 2011.

Looks like Celebrity sold Mercury.... Sooooo who knows if they will return.

I do not think Celebrity is going to return to Charleston for the upcoming season. When you check their site it shows Charleston as a stop, but not an embarkation point. I had heard that the Mercury was being transferred out of the Celebrity Fleet.

Celebrity Mercury, which was to sail from Charleston after its Fall/Winter cruise season sailing from Baltimore, is leaving the Celebrity fleet. It is being transferred to a German affiliate. 2011 Cruises from Charleston have been cancelled. Her last cruise for Celebrity sails from Baltimore on February 14, 2011.

 

Celebrity Century will be replacing Mercury for the Baltimore sailings next year. Perhaps it will also do some cruises from Charleston after Baltimore.
