ActiveTraveler Posted July 17, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 17, 2010 Here is a link to an AOL article about what you should not do while traveling in different countries. If you like to make a thumbs up, peace, or Texas Longhorns sign this one is for you. If you know any others or exactly where these signs are not acceptable, let me know before I mess up in the Western Mediterranean part of Europe. Moderators, let me know if I posted this in the wrong area. http://news.travel.aol.com/2010/07/14/dangerous-body-language-abroad/?icid=main|htmlws-main-w|dl8|link3|http%3A%2F%2Fnews.travel.aol.com%2F2010%2F07%2F14%2Fdangerous-body-language-abroad%2F

sneffles Posted July 25, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 25, 2010 Texas' Hook 'em Horns signs are not acceptable anywhere LOL. And don't worry about body language...never been a problem for us anywhere in Europe, Asia or North Africa. They are very tolerant as long as you bring money.
