dr dreamer Posted July 18, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2010 OK we just made a decision to sail Grandeur of the Seas and we have a couple of questions 1) My time dining, do we have to pay an extra charge? 2) Cigar bar? is there a cigar bar? is there a designated area or deck where Cigar smoking is allowed? 3) On NCL and Carnival guest are allowed to bring on board one bottle of wine per passenger, will RCCL allow this? 4) Is the back pool adults only? Any feedback will help Thanks DR Dreamer.

dixieva Posted July 18, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2010 I've sailed on the Grandeur 4 times. As odd as this sounds at night the library is turned into a cigar bar. There is a bartender in there who will go get drinks for you and I think they also sold cigars in there. Whenever I was in the library during the day I never smelled the cigar smoke so I don't now how they managed that. Last time on the ship was Sept. of last year so things might have changed since then.
lcyccruiser Posted July 18, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 18, 2010 The Viking Crowne Lounge has a section in the back that is where the cigar bar is set up. It's open from 9:00 p.m to midnight. We were on the Grandeur in March of this year. If you go, say hello to Desmond. Chris
