Grandeur of the Seas questions

OK we just made a decision to sail Grandeur of the Seas and we have a couple of questions

 

1) My time dining, do we have to pay an extra charge?

 

2) Cigar bar? is there a cigar bar? is there a designated area or deck where Cigar smoking is allowed?

 

3) On NCL and Carnival guest are allowed to bring on board one bottle of wine per passenger, will RCCL allow this?

 

4) Is the back pool adults only?

1. No. You must pre-pay all of your gratuities, however.

 

2. No cigar bar. There should be one designated area, but I don't know what it is.

 

3. No.

I've sailed on the Grandeur 4 times. As odd as this sounds at night the library is turned into a cigar bar. There is a bartender in there who will go get drinks for you and I think they also sold cigars in there.

 

Whenever I was in the library during the day I never smelled the cigar smoke so I don't now how they managed that.

 

Last time on the ship was Sept. of last year so things might have changed since then.

The Viking Crowne Lounge has a section in the back that is where the cigar bar is set up. It's open from 9:00 p.m to midnight. We were on the Grandeur in March of this year. If you go, say hello to Desmond.

thanks for the thred, the cigar bar info is a big help. i got a cruise coming up fast on this. RCCL has always had a good place to smoke on some of the not real old ships.
