Xmas & New Year Wind

We are thinking of booking the Wind Dubai - Dubai for Christmas and the New Year. Last year we did Sydney - Auckland for the same period but was really disappointed by the lack of atmosphere and decorations on the ship. Everyone you met were complaining about it. Was anyone on the Wind last Xmas/New Year and if so what was it like?

We were on the Spirit last Christmas and New Years. Many people complained about the skimpy decorations, but since this was the very first voyage for a brand new ship we were disappointed but understanding. We'll be on the Whisper (B.A. to Santiago) this 2010 holiday. And we sure hope the atmosphere will be as festive as it was on our many previous Christmas sailings. People pay a premium for these holiday sailings and a little sparkle goes a long way to brighten the spirits and to make the cruise seem different and special.
