mjthecruiser Posted July 20, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2010 I am cruising with my daughter's family including my 2 year old grandson. What kind of weather should we expect out at sea?
YXU AC*SE Posted July 20, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2010 Letting us know when you might be cruising may be beneficial in securing an accurate response! :D I assume you are on the Carnival Glory, 26th July out of NYC? Here are ocean surface temps off of and around Cape Cod -- ranging from 62° - 72°F ... so you can expect warm days (if the sun is out) and pleasant evenings. Enjoy your cruise. Scott. mjthecruiser Posted July 20, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted July 20, 2010 That was quite an oversight, wasn't it? Yes, we're going out of NY on the Glory on 7/26. Thanks for the info
nybumpkin Posted July 21, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 21, 2010 We've done this cruise four times and have a fifth booked for Labor Day weekend. We've had cloudy and cool, sunny and warm - on the same cruise. My recommendation would be to plan for warm temperatures, but make sure to pack some long pants and a sweatshirt or jacket just in case. And if you like going on deck at night, you'll want a jacket.
