Is anyone worried about taking children to the ports where people are getting sick?

I think anyone should be concerned by this, not just kids. If you take proper precautions such as using DEET and not going into remote areas, things should be fine. But you cannot be too careful. I just wonder if things get too bad, will cruise lines stop going to these areas?

Also make sure all of your (not just your kids) vaccines are up to date!! That is one of my biggest concerns. Be sure to check on government travel websites to see what vaccinations are recommended for that area.
