Is it possible to have 2 seperate accounts even though the room is booked in my name? Can I bring travelers checks and turn them in for cash on the ship say before going off the ship for an excursion? Can I pay our gratuities online so as not to incur the expense at the end of the trip? Ok, that's it for now.. Thanks!!

Yes, you can have two separate accounts each with it's own charging privileges. Of course, you would have to set each Sign and Sail account up with a credit card but I do believe that you can go to Guest Relations (aka Pursers) desk and pay your bill with cash/traveler's checks. Also, you can pay your gratuities ahead of time as well as any excursions that are offered by Carnival.

Hope this helps! :)

It's not only possible but it's easy to set up separate Sail & Sign accounts. During check in each individual will be asked how he or she would like to cover the cost of the on board purchases. As others have mentioned, each person can present a different credit card thus establishing a different account.

Also, you can opt to use cash instead of a credit card. Once on board you'd need to visit the Guest Service Desk located in the lobby to deposit what ever amount of cast prior to spending privileges becoming effective.

You can cash traveler's checks on board. A word of caution... do not sign the back prior to cashing them at Guest Services.

Regarding the gratuities, call your PVP. He or she will be thrilled to arrange this for you.

:)
