Hello,

I searched the threads and didn't find this.. sorry if its been discussed previously.

My wife and I have decided to sail Eclipse next spring on it's Western Caribbean itinerary.

Which side is best for views while arriving into the ports?

We will be in Aquaclass and trying decide on which hump balcony to select??

Thanks so much!

Steve

It doesn't matter. The ships sometimes dock to the port side, sometimes to the starboard side. In Caribbean cruises it generally does not matter what side you are on. If you can get a stateroom on the slanted portion of the hump, do that as you will have a larger balcony. That is more important than the side.

On our Western Caribbean on the Solstice we had a port side room and we had a view of the Port city we were arrriving to/gangway where passengers unload in Cozumel, Costa Maya and Roatan (tendered in Grand Cayman). Unfortunately though, I think that the Captain doesn't always pull in the same way so it could be different on different trips.
