Princess Golf on Grand

DH and I are sailing on October 25,2010 on the Grand. I have been told that there is no "Princess Golf" after October 2010. Has anyone else heard this? Princess Cruises said that they are not aware of this change. Does anyone know what's going on??:confused:

I can`t imagine what they would do with it at that time. The ship does not get it`s make over until next year. :confused:

If you confirmed with Princess and they state that they are not aware of this change...then there is no change. If you are not comfortable with their response you may want to have your TA check for you. If you booked your cruise yourself call again, another agent may be able to provide more definitive information.

 

I am traveling on the Grand in Feb 2011, first cruise. Is Princess Golf the putting course?

Yes, it is a bit like crazy golf with obstructions etc.

I was on the Grand in November 2009. I'm 95% certain it still had the golf then.

You are very right. I can't imagine them doing anything until she goes into dry dock unless the course is in such bad repair that it could cause injury to passengers.

 

I can't see them getting rid of crazy golf (thanks for confirming :)) as far as I know the big cruise lines all have these little courses. They are a great distraction for all ages and they often placed around funnels of ships which are awkward spaces to fill with anything else.
