CaptainChoppers Posted July 22, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2010 DH and I just booked a deluxe balcony cabin on the Epic for the November 27th sailing to the Western Carribbean. We requested a cabin that had the bed near the balcony but was told that all the cabins had the same configuration that the bed is not near the balcony, the couch is. However, I have been reading some reviews from past cruisers that say that the bed in their cabin was closer to the balcony and some of the pictures I have seen indicate the same thing. Is this true? No big deal, but I'm just curious. Thanks!:)
jumpoverboardjudy1 Posted July 22, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2010 We just came back from the July 10th sailing and our bed was next to the balcony. You can not believe what the people who make the reservations say, they really are in the dark. JumpOverBoardJudy
CaptainChoppers Posted July 22, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted July 22, 2010 Thanks! But how do I know which rooms have the bed by the balcony? I don't see anything on NCL.com? :)
baf10 Posted July 22, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 22, 2010 The cabins that hold 4 all have the sofa near the balcony.
RSVE821 Posted July 22, 2010 #5 Share Posted July 22, 2010 Thanks! But how do I know which rooms have the bed by the balcony? I don't see anything on NCL.com? :) Look at the deck plans. Where you see a cabin wall indented (the "wave"), that is where the bed is. The cabins alternate in layout.
