fllchick Posted July 22, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2010 I'll be in Split in September and someone was telling me about taking a ferry to Hvar. Has anyone ever done this? Is it worth it? I'll be there from 7am - 3pm. Thanks for any feedback!
alexandra cruiser Posted July 22, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2010 doubt you could really enjoy it in time you have available...we sailed from Split to Hvar as part of cruise and seems quite a ferry ride away..plus, if you get to Split at 7,they dock right in town at pier....you ll barely have time to see that city well....much less rushing to catch another boat...Hvar is small, but scenic, beach on outskirts of Old town,,,great to visit, but reallly can t be appreciated when having to rush to get back again,,,of course, just my opinion...lovely area to explore...:)
Daniela32 Posted July 26, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 26, 2010 No, it's not possible to do it in such short time frame.
California Native Posted August 30, 2010 #4 Share Posted August 30, 2010 as mentioned above you can't do it... but sometime in the future you must get yourself to Hvar.. When we traveling in Croatia on a DIY land vacation. I had been blogging quite a bit. When it came to Hvar I said I love Hvar, I'm not leaving The End If you would like to view some of our photos of Hvar you can find them here... http://ourpassportstamps.com/Croatia_Photos1.html
