Formal night in 4 night Grandeur Cruise

How formal is the formal night on the 4 night Grandeur Cruise? We recently sailed on a 3 night Carnival Imagination and a dress shirt and pants or dress shirt and tie were perfectly acceptable. I would say the 50% were not wearing suits.

 

If anyone has recently sailed on the 4 night Grandeur out of Ft. Lauderdale your feed back would be appreciated

We just came off a 4 night Grandeur cruise and I would hesitate to call it a formal night. We saw everything from a handful of tuxedos to ripped jeans. I wore a tux and will have to reconsider bringing it on our next RCCL cruise. No one else at our table for 10 even had on a tie.
