On our Canaries cruise the cabin leave time was 9.00am but I know on others cruises it is 8.00am so your cabin might not be cleaned by that time. If you're on an upper deck with fewer cabins you might be lucky but you can go and get some breakfast in the Beachcomber and relax for a bit. If you want to eat in the Beachcomber with the little one you should be ok if you go early but if you want the Island Restaurant, which is a bit more formal, then I advise that you go down between 6.15 and 6.30 and queue, take the right hand entrance. As it's a bit quieter on that side it's your best chance of getting a table for just the 3 of you. If you go later then you will be placed on a larger table but again go to the right as we always got quieter tables there.
