Viking River Cruise-Aug. 29

Going on a river cruise for the first time (Amsterdam to Budapest on Viking Europe). It sounds very casual, unlike all the cruise ships I have been on.

Can I get by without taking a jacket for the dinner meal? With so many packing restrictions now, it would be great if I didn't have to use up space for a jacket.

Anybody else going on this cruise?

No you do not need a jacket or tie. Completely casual. Just don't wear shorts at dinner. They prefer long pants for that meal.

We sometimes see where people got great last minute deals on river cruises. How do you find about these deals?
