Cruise practice

I leave for Florida today for my next cruise so I thought I would practice. I took a shower and wrapped the shower curtain around my legs and then tried to shave them. It sure got me excited about cruising! Anybody have anything else for me to do prepare myself for cruising?

 

You are funny!:D Luckily the last couple of cruises I have taken have had shower doors which makes it so much better. I hated the shower curtain sticking to me when I was trying to shower. On our last cruise on the NCL Pearl we had an inside cabin. The bathroom was so small that we had to sit sideways on the toliet because of the wall in front of it. Always cruising with a balcony room from now on.

I'm eating 5 meals a day. I fill my plate to the brim, eat two bites, set the plate down and then walk away.

 

But now my grocery bill is sky high and I'm running out of clean dishes . . .

 

I've been dropping my 4 kids off at the mall, handing them walkie-talkies and then driving across town to shop for souveniers.

 

I went to a funeral in shorts and a t-shirt. MAN, I was so comfortable I wore the same outfit to a wedding the folowing week! Hey, I said to my daughter, "If they don't like the way I look, that's their problem". Then I walked her down the aisle. . . .

Buy a ticket at your local movie theatre. Arrive early, stake out the prime seats in row 10 Center.

 

Take off your shoes & put them on 2 chairs.

 

Open your purse & take out a book & put that on a 3rd chair.

 

Put your scarf on a 4th chair.

 

Put your purse on a 5th chair.

 

Put your popcorn on a 6th chair.

 

Sit down yourself in the 7th chair....

 

As the movie's opening credits start to roll, when most other seats have been taken, and when people start to object....stand up, put your hands on your hips & proclaim LOUDLY: "My friends will be here SOON. :mad:."

My DH and I kid on we're teenagers, take our shoes off and race each other up and down the stairwells and corridors, then hang about the ship with other like minded 'teenagers' until 0105am until Security catches us and escort us to our stateroom.

Put a single power strip on the bathroom counter and plug all the chargers into it. Hang a shoe bag over the bathroom door and empty the contents of the bathroom drawers into it. Finally, get the ugly orange extension cord out of the garage and plug it into the wall socket across the room. Place end on DH's nightstand and plug his C-PAP into it. Practice going to the bathroom in the middle of the night without tripping over the cord.

Go spend a lot of money on things you don't need and would never buy under normal circumstances. Also, go to your local bar and drink more than usual.
