Anyone doing the med. on Brillance in September

If you are, can you believe the jump in prices. Also where is everyone staying in Barcelona. I was thinking about the Hotel Continental placente.

Any advice on excusions.

We're taking a 3-day in October, but I've been tracking the prices since the cruises were posted. The same thing happened in 2004 - booking within 6 months cost about 30% more than if you booked when they are first released.

 

As for hotels in Barcelona, check the Ports of Call thread - there's a lot of discussion there. We're staying at the Citadines, which is more of an apartment/hotel, because a close family friend recommended it, but from what I read, lots of posters like the Palacete. They like the Meridien, too, but that's a megabucks hotel.
