I want a Guarantee Cabin.... how?

I have always gambled with my cabin and have always been VERY lucky (inside to a mini suite... inside to an ocean view, etc.) I guess the one exception is the time I slept above the anchor

However, this is the first time I have ever booked my cruise this early (we don't leave until Sept 2011!) and there is no option of booking GTY.

Is there any way that can be foreseen to change from a stateroom # to a GTY now or in the future?

Thanks!

You can change your booking to a Guarantee but only when DCL decides to offer them on your cruise. If you monitor what they are selling on new bookings you'll periodically see the Guarantees pop up. When you see them offered you can just give DCL a call and switch your reservation.

I too wanted to try and do a gty cabing but DH is so picky about where are cabin is located. It must be an upper deck and mid ship. We once sailed Carnival and booked so late that we had a cabing RIGHT above the thrusters that woke us up at like 5am and almost vibrated out of bed.
