Carnival Fantasy Salon?

I'm getting married on board the Fantasy in the Port of Charleston in August 2011 and I was told not to depend on the salon being open. It is likely that they will not be open or that there will not be enough time to get your hair done before the wedding if your ceremony is on the day the ship leaves for your cruise. It is a better idea to get a hotel for the night before (my wedding coordinator said this is highly recommended anyway to avoid any unexpected travel delays on the day of the cruise), and try to scope out a hair/makeup artist nearby or at the hotel. Good luck!!
