We are leaving on March 20,2011 on Valor. Cannot wait. Any suggestions on tours other than booking through Cruise line..

Western Carib I think....Our last two cruises have been on the Valor so here's what we like to do, basically we are beach bums and book the majority of our excursions at the pier.

Caymans - Any nice spot on 7 Mile Beach with chairs and a nice little restaurant. Cheap taxi fares and cheaper bus fares.

Roatan - Maya Caye, formerly Fins and Flippers, is decent. Mahogany looked good from ship and will try it next time.

Belize - Any long snorkel/beach comb trip. Bannister Caye is nice. Always wanted to do the Geoff's Caye trip.

Cozumel - There is only one place for us in Cozumel - Nachi Cocom. A perfectly delightful

all inclusive day resort. Excellent beach and food. Book ahead on line, Limited number of guests daily.

Hey Angelee - we are on the same cruise as you! REALLY looking forward to it.

We had a roll call started, but it looks like it has dropped off the map due to inactivity. I'll have to head over there and restart one.

We've done Grand Cayman and Cozumel before on other cruises, and really enjoyed the ports. We did the Stingray City tour in Grand Cayman twice (once with kids, once without) and enjoyed it. It's one of those things that are nice to do once, just to say that you've held a stingray. Our last trip to Cozumel we spent the day at Chankanaab Park, and enjoyed it. The kids did a dolphin swim there and loved it. We got there on our own, via taxi but pre-booked the kids' dolphin swim through Dolphin Discovery.
