relaxinvac Posted August 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2010 We have never cruised out of Port Canaveral. I know we need to fly into Orlando. We are cruising on the Carnival Dream. What time will we need get into Orlando to get a shuttle to the port? What time should we book our return flight? Any shuttle recommendations? We have a 22 mos old who i understand will be required to have a car seat unless the shuttle is a public transport bus/van. I'm at a loss as to where to start so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Rare bsbcgirl Posted August 1, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 1, 2010 I have used Cocoa Beach Shuttle twice and have been very satisfied. I really can't answer your incoming question, because I always fly in the day before we cruise. As far as your departing flight, I feel that anything noon or later will be fine. Thanks! It sounds as tho you're flying in the same day as the cruise. What time of year are you doing this? If you are...good luck. There are tons of threads on the main Carnival boards about flying in the same day and what can happen. Just sayin... It takes approx 45 min to get from MCO to the port, w/o any accidents. The Dream docks early, but you never know if they'll be any hold ups clearing the ship. You should be safe with a flight after 12PM. Realize that there's no need to rush off of the ship if you don't need to. Have breakfast and relax, especially if you don't leave until a bit later.
