Viking River Cruises does not use the Royal Viking in Egypt. We are going to use Viking for their November 5th sailing

If you are interested in the Royal Viking or Viking Princess for your Nile Cruise you may like to read the review I did of our Nile Cruise in February. We booked through Discover Egypt and had a fantastic trip.

 

The review can be found in the Other Cruise Line sectiion on these boards - there was just no provision for Discover Egypt or Viking Princess in the cruise line/ships listings. It is headed Nile Cruise on Viking Princess with Discover Egypt and I wrote it on 6th March. Hope this will give you an insight as to what you will encounter.
