knceld Posted August 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2010 Quick question....we are celebrating my daughters graduation with a cruise next year and she will be bringing her 18 year old friend also. My question is do we have to have anything from the parents since the friend will be 18??
cruisinck Posted August 2, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2010 No, we took a group of kids when my son graduated 2 years ago and most of them were 18. We had a few that were 17 and they were the only ones we needed letters for.
reney313 Posted August 2, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 2, 2010 We took 4-18 year old boys for a graduation cruise. Just to be safe, I had purchased insurance and had their parents sign a medical release (notarized). We also had "signed" the waiver for beer/wine (no liquor). I took an additional copy from their parents, but were never asked for it. I did feel more secure with the authorizations in my possession just in case there were any questions. Fortunately, didn't need the insurance for any reason :)
