Summit - Kings Wharf

I am sailing this Sunday 8/8 on the Summit --- I have never been to Bermuda..and very excited to be going! A question has come up ---Will we be tendered into Bermuda or is the Summit docked in port?

Well, you already found out you're docked, but may I add we think Bermuda is the nicest, most beautiful island we've ever visited. Enjoy and take advantage of the pink buses and ferries to get around and purchase the multiple day pass if you plan on hitting the beaches, traveling to Hamilton and St. Georges.

Have fun!

Be sure not to miss Horseshoe Bay. After you enjoy the main beach for a while, be sure to to take a left as you face the ocean and walk down to the rocks. When you get there keep going and you will have a little adventure exploring all the nooks and crannies and the little "mini-beaches". Its really beautiful.

If you like to snorkel, we found Tobacco Bay to be a good place with very calm waters, but with coral and fish to see.

Have a great cruise!

we went im May and we LOVED it. Loved Horseshoe Beach. Make sure if you go there that you take the $2 trolley ride back up the hill when leaving the beach. The walk up is a killer. I am so jealous. Enjoy your cruise.

Hi 2cruisers60, we will be on your 8/8 sailing, too; and it will be our first time to Bermuda as well......

First time to Bermuda and first time on Celebrity ! -- that's why these boards have been so helpful. Did you sign up for the cruise critic get together on board? I think I did.....not sure - is there a way to check?

Thanks for the tip! I'm sure we will enjoy the trolley ride up after a day at the beach!

I've read about this pool - the Thalastheraphy (spelling?) Pool? - I have back issues so I'm looking forward to daily use!

I'll be on Celebrity Summit for a group cruise late Jan 2011. I had heard a bit about the spa pool and found info here in Cruise Critic that the use of that pool is free. I, too have back pain and regularly work out in therapy pool. I'll be in that pool daily.

Thanks to everyone here for great info, tips, and everything Cruiseable.:D
