Celebrity Fun Factory during port days

Hello all--we will be on Equinox next summer and are wondering how the Fun Factory program works during port days. This will be our first cruise on Celebrity. I have heard that there will be a charge for the service during port days. Is that right? I tried searching on this board but was not able to come up with a good result. Our DS will be almost 9 yo at the time of the cruise. One our last cruise on Brilliance last month, he stayed onboard one day while we were at port and it worked out well. We anticipate that he might choose to stay on the ship again on one of the port days. Just want to have an idea how it works and we do not mind paying for the service if that is the case. Thanks!

There is no charge for the Fun Factory on port days and they are open every single day and evening of the cruise, whatever else you might read and Celebrity might tell you! The Fun Factory is brilliant, the kids love it and the staff are wonderful!

Thank you for the information. That is great to know. Our DS enjoyed most of the ports with us but toward the end of the cruise, he got a bit "toured out" and rather stayed on the ship to have a more relaxed day. We will definitely utilize the service if needed.
