Any info on Nafplion port??

Hope someone can give me some info on this port, as I can't find much info on this port anywhere.

 

Wondering if it's a DIY or best to take ship excursion?

 

Is it easy to rent a car and just enjoy the scenery or is there more to do?

 

Any must sees or is this the time to have a restful stop on a port intensive cruise?

There are a number of previous threads on the forum that might be of help. The easiest way to access them is to use the "Search This Forum" function at the top, right side of the forum page. I would do separate searches using "Navplion" and "Nafplion" since both spellings are used.

 

Depending on how long you have in port, you might want to consider a trip to Mycennae and possibly Epidaurus. We really enjoyed both, plus a few other stops including Nafplion, on a day trip from Athens.
