Newcastle accomadation

Hello . I was thinking of booking 2 nighter on The sun departing Newcastle . Have to fly in from Melb but can only get flight night before . Any recommendations of a hotel near by the terminal for a family of 4 . Thanks :)

Hi . IF i could get it close to under $ 200 for the four of us that would be great .

I'm trying to factor the cost of taxi from airport to accomodation and then from accom to ship terminal the next day .

I had a look on Wotif and found a couple

The Albion has an apartment which would be around budget

You could get 2 rooms at Carrington Place

If you find any others post again and I will advise if close

We are staying at Carrington Place, it is an upmarket pub, the night before our cruise in October.

It is close to the wharf and the room I booked was $120..

If you google it, you will find it is a lovely looking place......

I am a newcastle boy -

 

Stay at the Boulevarde on Beaumont - its an apartment complex with amazing little 1 ans 2 bed apartments. Better than home! its on wotif and has some very cheap rates!

 

Plus beaumont street has everything you will need (cafe's etc)

 

I now live away from Newcastle and have stayed here a couple of times and it it excellent value and very good quality!

Just noticed what you are doing

 

Flying from Mel

Taxi to ACC

Acc

Taxi to ship

Taxi to Airport

Flight Home

 

 

This is an expensive exercise

 

The Taxi to Newcastle is around $80

 

 

There are some short trips from Syd and it would cut out a few of the costs costs
