Allure of the Seas offer from Club Royale??

Recommended Posts

we received the offer as well... have been calling to take advantage, but cannot get anyone on the phone... left numerous messages, but not been able to make a connection.... now there is a message stating that it is sold out... or at least the offer is sold out. Not sure what to do now... but would love to be on that sailing, especially for free.

I got the offer in the mail on friday and called immediately and was able to get it. Last year I got the offer for the Oasis and I didn't call for a few days and it was no longer available. Call anyway and ask to be waitlisted. I did this last year and got the call for the Oasis about 1 month later.

I received the invitation on Monday, August 9th. My offer was for a complimentary OCEANVIEW BALCONY stateroom for me and a guest, cash rebate redeemable on board, welcome aboard cocktail party, cash back bonus from slot play onboard and complimentary drinks for Club Royale members. It was for the 7-day inaugural sailing on either December 5th or December 19th. When I called on Tuesday the 10th, I also got the message that it was sold out, but left my name and phone number as well as my Club Royale Membership # and asked if someone could call me with regard to being put on a waiting list. About six hours later I got a call back and was told I had my choice of either sailing! I will be going on the 5th because on Oasis last year, we received "freebies" every night in our cabin for being on the inaugural and I'm hoping this will be the case again. I have to pay taxes and port charges which is $261.10 USD (I live in Canada) and although I'm not sure of the stateroom category until I hear from groups this upcoming week, even if it's the lowest category oceanview balcony it's still a heckuva deal!

Terrific, slotmomma! After being on the Oasis inaugural, I swore I wouldn't ever sail on another inaugural but who could turn down the 'price' - not to mention the on-board $$$ they are throwing in! I'm not a huge fan of RCI but am taking someone with me who has not been on any Royal Caribbean ship or seen anything about the Oasis or Allure, so it will be a thrill for her...... me less so, but now made more tolerable!

Was this invite an email or regular mail - I didn't get one and I'm sad!

It was a 'fold open' invitation-type card that came in the mail. In fact, I almost didn't open it as I thought it was junk mail! Other offers I've received for $$$-off cruises from Club Royale have been E-mail, which I just ignore because they expect you to spend a certain amount of time in the casino. While I've only sailed on RCI ships twice, I haven't liked it all that much, so haven't bothered with any previous offers.
