Yet ANOTHER alcohol question

I saw on another post, which I now can't find that I could order alcohol through the pursers desk to be delivered to my room (bottles) while on the ship. Is this correct? Also can this be done at any point during the cruise? I am planning on ordering through bv but don't want to order too much, so if I can order more bottles if needed during the cruise, it would make me feel much better :D.
