Dolphin excursions in Grand Cayman

Hi all,

We'll be going on a Princess cruise in December and they now have excursions available online. We found a dolphin encounter and turtle farm excursion in GC for only $79 -- seems like a steep discount compared to what is normally charged for dolphin-related activities. There's also another excursion for $99 that is a dolphin swim and stingray sandbar. It looks like the only difference in the dolphin discovery portion is that the swim is a little longer and includes the swim instead of just being in the water and doing tricks with them.

Does anyone have any experience with either of these that could help me decide which will be right? (There are 4 adults and a 9-year-old).

Thanks in advance!

Alicia

I am going on a cruise in March and am considering the Dolphin SWIM and Stingray encounter.

Which excursion did you end up doing in December?

There are several threads where people have asked about a dolphin swim, however the replies are about dolphin encounters.
