Is a B better than BB?

We just got our cabin assignment on the Volendam....is a B better than a BB (which we booked)? Are the elevators noisy since our room is right across from the elevators? I read on here that someone called /chatted with HAL to find out when the cabin would be assigned and it was that day. I did the same thing, chatted and then a few hours later, got my assignment. :)

With very few exceptions, all cat B's and As are exactly the same; just different locations. In the opinion of the cruise line, the location of a B is more desirable than a BB. You may, or may not agree.'
