Princess cruise wedding reception food

I am trying to get a few specific foods/snacks for my wedding reception on the ruby princess and TWE is saying I have to get the whole food package and so on and so on. There is only a few things out of 10+ that my guests will eat anyways. I read somewhere that you can call guest services and request a few trays of this and that to a place on the boat at a certain time. is it that easy?

 

Has anyone done this/know anything about it?

For dinner, we had reservations at the steakhouse, but there was only 8 of us. These reservations were also made with the event coordinator for that ship, prior to sailing.
