Paying on board a/c at end of cruise

Recommended Posts

Hi all

We are travelling on Celebration 13 Sep Egypt & Holy Land.

When we pay the onboard account on the final day if we use our Visa Debit card (Barclays connect)

Do you pay in GBP or local currency?

Also has anyone noticed there bank charging a fee like they do if you use the card to purchase currency in the UK.

Trying to work out best card to take

Thanks in advance

You'll give your card details on arrival and after that you can check your account at Reception and they will also put a statement under your door a couple of times, the last one on the night before departure. Anything you put on the card after that will be on your credit card statement so don't worry. There will be no charge for the cc or dc. So unless you're paying in cash you don't have to go to Reception to pay on your last day.:):)
