Jewel - Big AL at the Whiskey Bar

My wife and I were on the Jewel the week of 7/3/10. We did the Martini tasting which was ok but I also did the Whiskey, Scotch and Irish Whiskey Tastings with Big Al the bartender at the Whiskey bar in Bar City on Deck 6. I believe the bar was called maltings but it was a great place. Big AL is a great guy, very knowledgeable about what he serves and about the ship in general.

 

There are seats at the bar but there are also couches and flat screen TV's. Right next to it is the martini bar and also the champagne bar. There is an area right there that always had a piano or guitar player there, pretty much all day and night. Suprisingly it was never crowded which was like heaven on a crowded ship with TOO MANY KIDS !!!!!

 

So if your on the Jewel, stop by and see Big AL !!
