Attire for dinner on NCL

We were just on the Pearl in Alaska last month. Jeans are allowed in all of the dining areas, even the specialty restaurants (although I think one of the MDRs had a stricter dress code ... that was the rumor, so we avoided the Summer Palace). The big restriction is no shorts at dinner, although they're fine in the Garden Cafe buffet. It's very, very casual.

Went on the Pearl back in May, Jeans were allowed everywhere. The daily said not allowed in Summer Palace but wasnt inforced. In fact we tried to go to Indigo once and a table wasnt available so they moved us to Summer Palace, when we said we are in Jeans, they said fine, just no shorts. Probably at least 30% of the people we saw in there were in jeans.
