CruisesOnMyMind Posted August 14, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 14, 2010 If we book a RCCL cruise while we're on the Sostice, will we get the OBB credit and all entitlements as if we booked while on RCCL? I know they are owned by the same company but not everything is the same. If not then I will book my RCCL cruise now.:D:D
rwb Posted August 14, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 14, 2010 I wasn't aware that you could book a RCCL cruise while onboard Celebrity. I thought it was limited to Celebrity and Azamara. Pretty sure the reverse is true as well. I've been on two Celebrity and one RCCL cruise so far this year and can't recall seeing any literature for the other line, but there may have been a recent change. PartyAllDaTyme Posted August 14, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 14, 2010 Yes, you can book RCCL while on X and vice versa, and get whatever onboard booking benefits they're offering. You may want to double check with Celebrity or RCCL to see that you can get the benefits, but I'm fairly certain they were available. There were plenty of RCCL brochures in the future sales office on Solstice this past January.
Guest maddycat Posted August 14, 2010 #4 Share Posted August 14, 2010 Yes you can. While on Celebrity's Summit in April we booked RCI's Explorer of the Seas for Oct. We got the balcony discount. We paid a reduced deposit. We had the reservation transfered to our regular travel agent. He said that we got a very good price for the cruise. royalcruz Posted August 14, 2010 #6 Share Posted August 14, 2010 When the Millenium was brand new, we booked a veranda while on a RCCL cruise, for $490 for 7 nights! It was a special after 9-11 when bookings were down. That was the cruise that made us love Celebrity.
