When Does Food Service Begin?

Going out on Ecstasy Mar. 3 - departure at 4:00PM - I bet the bars will be open as soon as boarding begins - what about food service? Going to try driving down from Dallas in the AM and would like to know whether we should have lunch before we board.

The buffet will be open for lunch. We try to get on the ship as soon as we can (we're usually on by noon), so we can put things down in our room, eat lunch, check out the ship and have a "drink of the day". We love those first few hours!!!! Just remember to have a good breakfast that morning to tide you over until boarding. Have fun!

You will never go hungry on a cruise. Food and drinks will be plentiful as soon and you board.

Mucho Thanks - can't wait for our 1st "Miami Vice" after eating something - are the specialty drinks on CCL OK? The ones we had on RCCL were great, but those on Disney were AWFUL - the only negative we had on that cruise.

The buffets are open as soon as you get on. So is the grill and the pizza area.
