sassiesammy Posted August 22, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2010 We will be in Halifax and have booked Bruce Cochrane. He has an Uplander Van. He is taking us to Peggy's Cove and Lunnenberg which is about 6.5 hours in duration. The cost for the 4 of us is $260. Does anybody have any feedback on Bruce's tours? This is a very long trip so we are wondering if the views are worth it or if we should just stay in Halifax:confused:
atlasali Posted August 22, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 22, 2010 We are booked with Bruce (same tour) mid September. Many years ago as a teen, I bicycled through Nova Scotia. I remember Peggy's Cove as being beautiful. I think I will be shocked at how crowded it is now. Researching Lunenburg - it appears to be a scenic example of a historical sea village. It is a UNESCO world heritage site. Hopefully he can show us a place to get good seafood for lunch. If you use Brucestours first; please leave a review...I will do the same for you. maryann ns Posted August 22, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 22, 2010 If you do a search (posts) on the Canada page you will many previous references to Bruce's tours. Look to the right of the blue bar near the top of the page for the search feature.
