snuba at atlantis or snorkeling

I can not tell you anything about SNUBA (other than it is something I do want to try). As for snorkeling, we took the "Catamaran Sail & Snorkel" out of Nassau (booked through Carnival), and had a great time.

I will mention however that it is an "exertion" trip. We snorkeled off the north shore of Sun Cay (a couple miles east of Nassau), and there was a strong current, so if you are not a good swimmer, you might find yourself getting tired out quickly. If you do get tired, you can reboard the ship, and then get back in the water, or hang on to the rope they toss out for that purpose. The reef is spectacular, with a lot of colorful fish, and the ride out and back itself is a nice trip.
