monkeyates Posted September 9, 2010 #26 Share Posted September 9, 2010 We leave on the Sensation on 9/23. I just ordered three liters of Absolute Citron for $129.00 This service is a bargain! You will have to call customer service and they will direct you to Bon Voyage service.
capndinghy Posted September 9, 2010 #27 Share Posted September 9, 2010 Yes, drinking Bon Voyage Booze is much cheaper than the bar. Although not as cheap as smuggled duty free hooch ! Although I did just purchase a bottle of rum from Bon Voyage, I am sure our bar bill will still be substantial on our 12 day voyage.
MacBrokefoot Posted September 9, 2010 #28 Share Posted September 9, 2010 Yes if you look at those process for bottles vs. bar prices it is a bargain, but dang, now I really want to consider smuggling not for any other reason then the absolute (no pun) huge mark up on the liquor on board...WOW. amunhbuu Posted September 19, 2010 #32 Share Posted September 19, 2010 I called two days ago and ordered a bottle of vodka. She knew exactly what to do and was very pleasant. I even had the correct price. She then asked if I wanted to supplement that with any whiskey or tequila. I told her I would love to, but I didn't think I could get it all down in the week cruise. ;) She also asked where I had heard about the service as they were polling people. I mentioned cruisecritic. They do not advertise it on their website, so I wonder if they have seen an influx of orders over the last year or so.
