Goff's snorkling or Segrent's snorkling trip

We did the Goff's Cay snorkeling and I'm not sure you'd want to take a 6 year old. There are two options, you can snorkel from the boat or snorkel from the beach. We did the snorkeling from the beach and it's a long swim. You swim out to the dropoff, look around for a little bit, and then swim back. If boats drive by, it can make the waves a little rough.

After we were done snorkeling, we got a beach break and were allowed to keep a hold of our snorkeling equipment to swim around on our own. Your 6 year old could easily do that. The coral is pretty close to shore.
