We are sailing on the Summit on November 27, 2010, and we want to plan which nights to book in the Speciality Restaurant around formal nights. Does anyone know which two of the seven nights are formal nights? Here is the schedule if that helps. Thanks!

Day 1 Depart - San Juan, Puerto Rico

Day 2 St. Croix, U.S.V.I.

Day 3 Basseterre, St. Kitts

Day 4 Roseau, Dominica

Day 5 St. George's, Grenada

Day 6 Scarborough, Tobago

Day 7 At Sea

Day 8 Arrive - San Juan, Puerto Rico

I read on another posting that formal nights on this itinerary are on Sunday and Friday. Hope so, as we booked Normandie for Tuesday. I wouldn't think Normandie would be more crowded on formal night - those are the ones that generally have the better menu choices in MDR I have heard.

Librarylady is correct. Formal nights are Sunday and Friday. We usually went by the MDR each day as they have the menu on a board outside showing what the nights menu would be. We would then decide which night to go to Normandie, which is absolutely the best!! Loved the filet mignon and lobster tail and the chocolate souffle. The second formal night is where they have the big production with the waiters wearing the white gloves and menu has the lobster medley. We loved the Summit.
