Tipping On Constellation - US or Euro

The ship runs on US dollars so the staff would probably expect that. In fact the default for tipping is to have your on board account charged for the tips in US dollars and all the recommended amounts are stated in dollars.

 

With that said, I'm sure that in Europe they get plenty of cash tips in Euros, and other currencies, and are grateful for whatever they receive.

I would say that since you're cruising in Sep, that either would be appropriate. As the time nears for the trans-Atlantic, I would say that tipping would be more appropriate in US dollars, as the crew would have to either hold onto the Euros for almost 6 months, or exchange them for dollars.
