Latest Info on Tintamarre Mud Baths?

We visited Tintamarre on a Golden Eagle Catamaran excursion several years back, and really enjoyed the mud baths. I just noticed a 2009 thread stating the mud baths are closed down, and I haven't noticed any new info on here since.

 

Does anyone know the current status of the mud baths? We'll be there in January - I'd book another excursion to there, but only if the mud baths are usable.

My understanding is the the 'mud baths' on Tintamarre are off-limits, but excursions there can bring their own 'mud' and do mud baths on the beach, and are doing so -- there and on other beaches, like at Happy Bay.
