Day Trip in San Juan (no car)

Looking for a great vendor/tour operator for a day trip in San Juan post cruise. Hopefully will include a stop at a beach but not a whole day at the beach.

I would highly recommend Albert Aguirre tours. We just got back from one of his tours. He picked us up right at the cruise ship port in a nice air conditioned van right when we got off the ship. was very reliable and infact waited 45 min for another couple that had booked with him as well but backed out. i felt bad for him since he had saved a spot for them and actually lost money as he doesn't take a deposit. We were with only one other couple and we went all over the island. The tour was only supposed to be 4 hours but ended up being almost all day. We saw the rainforest and waterfalls. We had a chance to get out at the lookout tower and to do a walking trail around the waterfall and basin. The rainforest is definitely a must see if you have never been. Afterwards we went to the beaches area and had an authentic lunch- very good. We cold have swam at the beaches there but it was raining on our day so we headed on with our tour. Then we went on a car tour of the old city and fort area and walked around there. Some people got dropped off in the downtown section to go shopping but we went back to the ship after such a busy day. It was very nice to have someone local to the area show you around and give you insight.
